Responsibilities include:
*Admitting and discharging patients on the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and
Intermediate Coronary Care Unit (ICCU)
*Daily formal rounding with the attending cardiologists
*Providing medical management for cardiac patients throughout their admission
*Triaging patients from the Emergency Department to the CCU/ICCU
Cardiology experience desired but not required. Rotating weekend/holiday

Faculty Member, Physician Assistant Program

The University of New England Physician Assistant Program is seeking a
knowledgeable, experienced and collaborative Physician Assistant to serve as a
principal faculty member for this twelve-month, full-time position. PA program
faculty receive appointments at the academic rank commensurate with their
experience. This person will participate in admissions, student teaching/
evaluation/ remediation, program evaluation/ accreditation, and other service
and scholarly activities.
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited PA program
• Current NCCPA certification with current licensure (or eligibility) in Maine
• Minimum of three years of full-time clinical PA practice experience
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and computer skills
• Prior teaching experience and a Master's degree are preferred
